Privacy Policy

How we handle your data. The short version: very carefully.

Last updated: 17 March 2026

01

Who we are

Cambridge Motion Ltd is a design studio registered in England and Wales (company number 08115942). Our registered address is 483 Green Lanes, London, N13 4BS. For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we are the data controller.

You can reach us at hello@cambridgemotion.com for any questions about how we handle your data.

02

What data we collect

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it:

Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and the content of your message. If you use the project enquiry form, this may also include your company name, service interests, and budget range.

We do not collect data through cookies, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting.

03

Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors across sites. It is fully compliant with GDPR, ePrivacy, PECR, and CCPA. No consent banner is required.

04

How we use your data

We use the personal data you provide to:

Respond to your enquiry — we read your message and reply to the email address you provided.

Assess project fit — for project enquiries, we use the details you share to understand your needs before our first conversation.

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making. We will never sell or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.

06

Third-party services

Contact form submissions are delivered via Resend, an email delivery service. Resend processes your data solely to deliver the email and does not retain it beyond what is necessary for delivery. The website is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and operational purposes.

07

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions in our email inbox for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for our own records. We do not store form submissions in a separate database. You can request deletion at any time.

08

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you

Request correction of inaccurate data

Request deletion of your data

Object to our processing of your data

Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@cambridgemotion.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.
