TalentDesk is a contractor management platform built for organisations that rely on flexible workforces. It handles the complexity of managing, onboarding, and paying freelancers and contractors at scale, the kind of product where a confusing interface has real operational consequences for its users.

Part of what makes the design work challenging is that TalentDesk serves several distinct user types within the same platform: company administrators, finance teams, hiring managers, and the contractors themselves. Each group has different priorities, different levels of technical comfort, and different tasks to complete. Designing flows that feel intuitive to all of them, without creating a fragmented or inconsistent product, requires a level of product thinking that goes well beyond visual design.

We have been embedded in the product team for years, working alongside their developers to design and ship new features on an ongoing basis. That long-term involvement means we understand the product deeply, which shows in the quality and consistency of what gets built.

A core part of our work is maintaining TalentDesk's design system, ensuring that every new feature and every piece of marketing collateral stays visually consistent with the wider product. In a platform this size, that coherence is what keeps the user experience from fragmenting as the product grows.
